Two-day workshop on nonviolent communication offered

FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Children’s Task Force is sponsoring a two-day nonviolent communication training seminar. “Speaking Peace,” will take place Saturday, Sept. 16, and Sunday, Sept. 17, and feature instruction in non-violent communication by trained instructor Leah Boyd.

The program will help participants improve relationships with friends and family, have more open communication with children, easier collaboration with workmates, more acceptance of themselves and others and more, according to a news release from the task force.

The sessions are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days in the Franklin Memorial Hospital Bass Room, 111 Franklin Health Commons.
