Rangeley Chamber Golf Classic winners announced

RANGELEY — The winners of the 24th annual Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic. The event was held Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Mingo Springs Golf Course, and was followed by dinner and awards ceremony at the Country Club Inn.

Men’s A Division, first place was won by Curt Haley, Jamie Eastlack, Jeff Richard, Brad Stokes. Men’s A Division second place finishers were Jim Jannace, Jeff Slinn, Doug Osgood, Mike Spear; B Division first place were Frank Morse, Peter Morse, Tripp Carter, Phelps Carter; B Division second place were Rick Walker, Peter Judkins, Mike Mansir, Rick Smith.

In the Women’s Division, first-place winners were Jackie Patnode, Nancy Skean, Betsy Hershberg, Liz Schulte. Second-place finishers were Kate Williamson, Ellen Oppenheim, Beth Brunswick, Laura Reynolds.
In the Mixed Division, first-place winners were Dan DiPompo, Brittany DiPompo, Ann Nemi, Greg Nemi; second-place finishers were Joann Bean, Bob Silvia, George Field, Diane Field.

Longest Drive winners were Ellen Oppenheim and Rob Welch. Closest to the pin winners were Elaine Fitzgibbon and John Wetzel.
