RANGELEY – Special thanks go out to Gary and Jackie Patnode, their family and all who attended and volunteered for the “Good Acoustics” fundraiser held July 14 in Rangeley. Good Acoustics is a James Taylor/Simon & Garfunkel tribute band; the trio from Western Massachusetts is well-known for an emphasis on strong vocals with all three members contributing to the harmonies.
The event took place at private homes and at the Rangeley Friends of the Arts Lakeside Theater. The Patnodes’ generous support brought the RFA closer to its goal of bringing first-run movies back to Rangeley.
