AUBURN — Festival Plaza will house an impressive “trifecta” of events Friday, Aug. 18, to kick off the Great Falls Balloon Festival weekend. The Art Walk, presented by L/A Arts, will take place in the downtown area from 5 to 8 p.m., showcasing a children’s book reading at One Great Falls Plaza.
The “Red Table Picnic” event, sponsored by Auburn Recreation, encourages the community to celebrate their proud “Red Eddies” history by holding a red-themed picnic in Festival Plaza from 5:30 – 8 p.m.
The Great Falls Balloon Festival will be presenting two bands performing in Festival Plaza; Polarized Acoustic Duo from 6 to 7:15 p.m. and Rubber Band from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
