‘Evening of Ella’ at Rangeley library Aug. 15

RANGELEY –Anna Mather will be singing at the Rangeley Public Library, 7 Lake St., Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 6 p.m. featuring the music of Ella Fitzgerald. Mather’s rich vocals are a wonderful match for Fitzgerald. Saying, as a teen, she sang what she was told to sing, Mather says she now enjoys deviating from the written score as much as possible. She discovered her love for Ella Fitzgerald in this past winter’s Diva Show.

Mather, a single mother of three, currently resides in Rangeley as the singing seamstress. You can find her at Anna’s Place on Main Street, singing in spirit at the Rangeley Congregational Church, or somewhere in water with her kids and lovely doggy.
This program is free and open to the public; pre-registration, though not required, is strongly suggested so the library will be able to set up for a more exact number of guests. Please call the library at 207-864-5529.
