Marylyn Lee 1935 – 2017
FARMINGTON — Marylyn Lee, 81, formerly of Canton, passed away Friday, July 14, at Pinewood Terrace. She was born Aug. 26, 1935, in Canton, the daughter of Russell York and Caroline (Dunn) York.
She married George Lee of Livermore July 5, 1952.
Marylyn held many jobs but especially enjoyed working as the town clerk for Canton for 10 years. She enjoyed square dancing, snowmobiling, numerous crafts, and flower gardening. Always ready for fun and adventure, Marylyn and Eva, her friend and travel companion, cruised and toured multiple destinations, including the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Marylyn was a devoted member and long-time treasurer of the Canton Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, George Lee, of Farmington; her loving daughter, Bonnie Lee Brown, of Industry; two grandsons, Ethan Brown of Denver, Co., and Isaac Brown of Wrentham, Mass., and a great-grandson, Kyle Brown, also of Wrentham. Marylyn was predeceased by her parents and beloved daughter, Vickie Lynn Lee, who she looked forward to joining in heaven. The family would like to thank Pinewood Terrace and Beacon Hospice for the compassionate care they gave to Marylyn.

Marylyn was an animal lover, particularly fond of kittens and puppies; she would welcome donations to your local animal shelter in lieu of flowers.
