Jul. 202017

LEWISTON — As part of its “Bring Change” campaign, TD Bank is serving as a designated hub to support Tree Street Youth. Through July 21, TD is inviting people to participate in a community fundraiser to support the organization.
Donations will be collected through Friday, July 21, at the TD Bank at 790 Lisbon St. during normal business hours.

The official donation of the check to Tree Street Youth will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday, July 24, at the Tree Street Youth Center, 144 Howe St. A separate grant contribution will also be provided through the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank.

Tree Street Youth in Lewiston-Auburn gives refugees, immigrants and at-risk youth the resources they need to learn, graduate school and get into college. The organization offers programs in academics, the arts and athletics to help students develop the skills they need, all while fostering a unified community. The organization serves over 600 youth annually and partners with the Lewiston school system, as well as the juvenile corrections system, to ensure that those most in need receive support.

TD’s Bring Change program supports people and organizations in communities across the bank’s footprint that are making a meaningful local difference. The program focuses on issues that affect low and moderate income areas, as well as homelessness, food shortages and services for those with special needs.
