GORHAM — Susan Lasselle, an adult education teacher in Poland-based Regional School Unit 16, received an Outstanding Teacher Award at the annual Maine Adult Education Association Conference June 22, at the University of Southern Maine.
Lasselle has taught for the adult education program serving the communities of Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland since 2002. Having been a teacher in both regular and special education since 1984, however, she brings extensive knowledge and experience to the needs and learning styles of her students, according to the MAEA.
