WAYNE — The Wild Things Fine Art Gallery has opened its season with a solo show by internationally celebrated watercolor artist and children’s book author Doris Anne Holman.
The show, “Watercolor Sparkles,” displays a wide variety of Maine subjects, including land and seascapes, birds, and flowers, all brilliantly captured as only she can, according to a news release from the gallery, which is at 1 Christmas Tree Lane. Original paintings framed or matted, as well as autographed books and greeting cards will be available. A schedule of adult and children’s classes to run through the summer will be posted at the gallery. Gallery hours are 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday; by appointment; and when the “open” flag is out. For more information, call 458-9875 or email cpette01@aol.com.
