Rangeley area-wide yard sale sellers deadline is July 26

RANGELEY — The Rangeley Public Library will hold this year’s Rangeley Area-Wide Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5.
Registration forms for sellers are available at the library and the Rangeley Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce office, 6 Park Road.

Completed registrations must be received by the library no later than July 26.
The registration fee of $12 will reserve a seller’s location, with a specific description on how to find your home, on the yard sale map, that will be available to people interested in attending this year’s event. Sellers alsobwill receive a sign to indicate their sale location. The yard sale will be advertised in area media.
If you live way out of town and would like to display your items at a central location, spaces will be available in The Barn of the Congregational Church on High Street or in Oquossoc at the Rangeley Guides’ and Sportsmen’s Pavilion on Old Skiway Road. A fee of $15 will be charged for a space at these two locations. The Rangeley Public Library thanks these community organizations for generously donating the use of their facilities.
This is a great opportunity for buyers to plan ahead and make a day of bargain hunting at the yard sales in Rangeley. Maps for shoppers will be available after 1 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Rangeley Public Library, 7 Lake St.; the Rangeley Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce; and the Oquossoc Store.
