Rangeley Friends of the Arts present Time and Sarah Macek and Friends July 15

RANGELEY — The Rangeley Friends of the Arts will presents Tim and Sarah Maček and Friends: A Chamber Music Concert, at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 2614 Main St.

Seasonal residents and violinists, the Mačeks will be joined by clarinetist Morrie Sherry, violinist Elizabeth Field, violist Uri Wassertzug and cellist Suzanne Orban in a program of chamber music by the three great pillars of the classic period, along with Argentine tango master Astor Piazzolla. On the program will be the “Divertimento in B minor” for two violins and cello by Haydn, the “String Quartet op. 18 no. 2” by Beethoven, Mozart’s magnificent “Clarinet Quintet” and two tangos by Piazzolla.
Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for 18 and under; tickets are available in advance online at www.rangeleyarts.org, click on the “Buy Tickets” tab. Tickets also will be available at the door.
