Friends of Norway Library book sale runs through July 8

NORWAY –The Friends of Norway Memorial Library’s Annual Used Book Sale will run Thursday, July 6, through Saturday, July 8.

Hours of the sale are 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The sale includes hardcover and paperback fiction and nonfiction for all ages. From noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, all outside books are available for $1 a bag (plastic grocery size-bags are provided). Inside, the books are sorted by genre.

The library has received donations of history books this year, with several Civil War books. It has also received donations of book and book-related collectibles that will be sold by silent auction bid. Money raised at the sale goes to the Friends of Norway Memorial Library, which in turn support additions to the audio and video collection of the Norway Memorial Library, programs, and events.
