AUBURN — Alley Smith will be the guest speaker at the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Breakfast Club meeting Wednesday, July 26, from 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave. Smith is the regional manager of Veterans Inc. in Maine. She is a United States Marine Corps and U.S. Navy Reserve veteran. She served in Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan.
Smith is the vice commander for the American Legion District #3, Androscoggin County, and the veteran engagement director of Maine Team RWB. Her work in veterans’ advocacy is geared toward enriching the lives of Maine’s most vulnerable veterans — those who homeless or at risk. She promotes personal responsibility, personal accountability and resilience. Smith is dedicated to ending veteran homelessness in Maine. Reservations are not required to attend; breakfast is $10 per person.
