Mechanic Falls resident graduates from Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. — Amanda Grace Gibson, of Mechanic Falls, Maine, received a bachelor of arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross at its 171st commencement on May 26. Approximately 669 students received degrees this year at Holy Cross, in exercises at which Dr. James J. O’Connell, president and founding physician of the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program and assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, was the principal speaker.
