WINTHROP — The Kennebec Land Trust will host its annual meeting on Sunday, Aug. 20, at Camp Winnebago on Echo Lake in Fayette.
The event is open to land trust members and the public. The day will feature the fourth annual Tri-Sport Challenge (swim, paddle and run), art and botany workshops, a local foods cookout and the annual meeting.
The trust’s newest conservation projects — Horseshoe Island on Cobbossee Lake and the Rosmarin and Saunders Family Forest in Readfield — will be featured.
The event is $15 per person. RSVP by Aug. 4 at www.tklt.org or by calling 377-2848.
