Quilters and others invited to display at Monmouth July 8 open house

MONMOUTH — Quilters, crafters and other artists are invited to display their creations at the town’s 225th birthday celebration July 8 at an open house at the United Church of Monmouth, Route 135. There will be an open house from noon to 4 p.m. in the church sanctuary at which old or new, antique, vintage, or modern creations, large or small — handiwork, quilts, wall hangings, runners, rugs and linens will be on display.

The event also includes a quilt display from Monmouth Museum. There is no fee to display. Bring items for display from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 6 or Saturday, July 7, to the church, on Route 135.
