FARMINGTON — The theme of the New Hope Baptist Church Vacation Bible School this year is “Over the Moat – Drawbridge to the King.” The free week-long school for children ages 4 through sixth grade runs from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, July 31, through Friday, Aug. 4 at the church, 268 Perham St.
Activities will include games, crafts, snacks, songs, Ricky the ventriloquist puppet and Bible studies centered on the early life of David. Classes are divided by age, with Beginners (4 and 5 years old), Primaries (grades one through three) and Juniors (grades four through six).
