LEEDS — As we dream of a wonderfully warm, beautiful Maine summer, the Leeds Volunteer Fire Dept. is now accepting donations for its annual barn sale and silent auction to be held Saturday July 15, and Sunday, July 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sander-Lou Farm on North Road.
The department is looking for re-saleable items in good condition; however, no clothes or shoes, (The Leeds Grange receives these.) and no TVs or computer monitors can be accepted. (Many towns now recycle these.)
The fire department is grateful for the community’s continued support of its fundraising breakfasts, sales and auctions. Proceeds will go toward updating scene lighting to LED for the department’s mutual aid pumper truck.
