Wessling named Community Credit Union employee of the month

LEWISTON — Andrea Wessling, a compliance specialist at Community Credit Union, was named Employee of the Month for May, the credit union announced.

Wessling has been employed at Community Credit Union since 2015 and is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day procedures and policies of the credit union comply with appropriate laws and regulations. When asked what she liked most about working for a credit union Wessling said, “The credit union is interested in its members’ financial well-being and growth as well as my own.”

Wessling is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology. She enjoys giving back and volunteering in her community.

The Employee of the Month Award, decided by the management team and fellow employees, reflects the extraordinary effort and consistent performance of individuals delivering exceptional results for themselves, their co-workers and the members of Community Credit Union, the news release said.
