IF&W Commissioner Woodcock to speak at RRGSA June 22 meeting

RANGELEY — Chandler Woodcock, the commissioner of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, will be the guest speaker when the Rangeley Region Guides’ and Sportsmen’s Association holds its monthly membership meeting on Thursday June 22.

The meeting, which is a week later than usual because of a scheduling issue, will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a potluck dinner, which will be followed by a brief business meeting, at the clubhouse on Old Skiway Road in Oquossoc. Woodcock will talk about how advances in technology are changing the way DIFW manages fish and wildlife resources. There will be a question and answer session after his presentation.

The public is welcome to attend.
