Mr. Drew and His Animals Too to be at Maine Wildlife Park June 17

GRAY — Mr. Drew and His Animals Too will visit the Maine Wildlife Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17.

Drew Desjardins has a variety of exceptional animals he has rescued and rehabilitated and he brings a complete hands-on experience. Visitors can have their photo taken with a large tegu, boa, monitor, macaw or tortoise. They can also find out about the dos and don’ts, legalities and illegalities of exotic pet ownership.

The Maine Wildlife Park is owned and operated by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. The park exists to promote an understanding and awareness of the wildlife, conservation and habitat protection programs and projects of MDIFW. It has more than 30 species of native wildlife on display, as well as wildlife gardens, nature trails, a fish hatchery and other interactive exhibits and displays.

Admission to the park is free for those 3 and under; $5.50 for ages 4 to 12; $7.50 for adults, and $5.50 for seniors. Groups of 15 or more are $3.50 per person. Picnics are encouraged, and family and community season passes are available.
