AUBURN — Susan Hedrich will be the featured guest speaker of the L-A Breakfast Rotary Club from 7 to 8 a.m., Wednesday, June 14 at the United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave. Hedrich began her career in healthcare volunteer leadership at Central Maine Medical Center in 1987.
Over the years, she advanced to the system director of volunteer services position, which includes CMMC, Bridgton and Rumford hospitals with more than 285 senior and junior volunteers.
Hedrich earned her certified administrator of volunteer services designation in 2016 from the national Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resources Professions. She has also been recognized by the Maine governor’s office on volunteerism with the Excellence in Volunteer Administration award as well as her state professional association with the Director of Volunteer Excellence award in 2014.
Recently, Hedrich received two New England Volunteer Services awards at the annual New England Association of Directors of Healthcare Volunteer Services professional conference, which Maine hosted. She earned the New England Association for Professional Excellence and Team of Stars awards, recognizing members of the board for outstanding contributions.
