Auburn announces summer farmer’s market

Jun. 102017

AUBURN — The City of Auburn has announced the Auburn Farmers’ Market is open for the summer. The market will be held Tuesdays through October 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Happy Days parking lot located, 67 Mill St. Parking for the market will be located at the adjacent Rolly’s Diner.

Auburn encourages supporting local farmers and artisans. Products from farmers’ markets are among the freshest and tastiest available. A trip to a farmer’s market is one of the best ways to connect with where your food comes from and buy directly from the source. Help us make Auburn’s new farmers’ market a community hub–a place where you can get a taste of small-town life here in our great city.

The Auburn Farmers’ Market has a variety of vendors selling items such as goat milk, cheese, baked goods, plants, seedlings, meats, eggs and veggies. For more information, please contact Kathy Shaw, market coordinator, at 207-320-1969 or Auburn Recreation Director Sabrina Best at sbest@auburnmaine.gov. farmers market photo
