Spiritualism program to be held in Hartford June 17

HARTFORD — A program “What makes spiritualism so fascinating?” will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at Town Hall.

“A lot of people want to know what happens after death and how communication is possible,” said certified medium Rose Osborn, one of the participants, in a news release. “This event is a good starting place.”

The program will include a presentation on the story of Lily Dale, N.Y.; discussion of the history and philosophy of modern spiritualism by Scott Mills, MPI; and a panel discussion and question and answer session featuring Osborn and the reverends Elizabeth Simpson and Stephanie Frobese.

A lunch of hot dogs and salad, and other refreshments will be provided, free of charge, and there will be a basket that includes reading material, sunflower items and more raffled off.

There is no fee, but an open donation is suggested for admission.
