BETHEL — The Mahoosuc Land Trustis sponsoring a hike for all ages to the Cataracts and Flume in Andover on Saturday, June 3, which is National Trails Day.
The trust said the hike is short “with a good reward,” including many chances to view the pools and drops of Frye Brook. There will be a picnic area at the end. The hike is part of the trust’s year-long focus on iconic places in and around the area.
Participants should meet at Akers Ski, 51 Akers Way, in Andover, at 10 a.m. to carpool to the trailhead. Hikers should wear sturdy shoes and bring water and a picnic lunch.
The Mahoosuc Land Trust is an accredited community land trust encouraging public interest in conservation in central Oxford County and eastern Coos County, N.H.
