LEWISTON — Absentee ballots are available for the special state referendum to be held Tuesday, June 13.
The referendum is on a $50 million bond issue question for state infrastructure and economic development and research. To read the referendum question, go to the city’s website, lewistonmaine.gov and search “ballot special referendum.”
Absentee ballots are available at the City Clerk’s Office, and registered voters can call, mail an application downloaded from the city’s website or visit clerk’s office, on located on the second floor of City Hall during office hours 8:30 to 4 p.m,, Monday through Friday.
Voters may also order an absentee ballot on line through the state’s website at maine.gov.
On election day, Tuesday, June 13, citywide voting will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Longley Elementary School, 145 Birch St.
