FREEMAN — Franklin County’s year-round online farmers’ market is planning an open house for its Western Maine Market, Sunday, May 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Rasmussen Farm, 21 Schoolhouse Road. The event — free and open to the public — will be a celebration of a new growing and market season as well as an opportunity to thank loyal customers while introducing others to the market.
It will provide a chance for visitors to meet and chat with several farmers/vendors, enjoy free local food, take a tour of Rasmussen Farm, if they would like, and have some fun. Fiddleheads and other products will be available for sale. A drawing will be held for WMM gift certificates.
