AUBURN — The city is accepting applications for several boards and committees. Application deadline is 4:30 p.m., Thursday, June 8. “Volunteering to serve your community will allow you to meet new people and to expand your social network,” said a news release from the City Clerk’s office. “It is an opportunity to share your skills and experiences, while learning and developing new skills. If you would like to make a positive impact on your community.”
Applications are available in the City Clerk’s office or by visitingwww.auburnmaine.gov. Vacancies include Auburn Housing Authority, Board of Assessment Review, Cable TV Advisory Committee, Citizens Advisory Committee, Complete Streets Committee, Conservation Commission, Lewiston Auburn Transit Committee, Forest Board, Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and St. Louis Bells Committee.
