LEWISTON — The Lewiston Youth Advisory Council’s “T.A.L.K.” Art Gallery scheduled for May 10 has been canceled. Having received only 23 entries from students in pre-kindergarten through grade 8, the content is not enough for a full gallery setting.
Submissions sought had been that of poems, photos, drawings or paintings depicting the importance of being respectful when talking and treating all listeners kindly — the acronym T.A.L.K. Instead of hosting the gallery that evening, the youth council will be meeting to decide how to best utilize the entries they did receive to further promote the T.A.L.K. campaign.
