RANGELEY — The annual Doll Carriage Parade will be held on Monday, July 3, beginning on the lawn of the Rangeley Inn, and will focus on being a children’s event, organizers said.
Registration and judging begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 9:45 a.m., and the parade begins at 10 a.m. and proceeds to the Rangeley Town Park.
Categories are walkers, bikes, carriages, wagons, groups and child-driven battery-operated vehicles. Flat beds, jeeps and any other motorized vehicles are not allowed in the parade — the event is for children, as it was conceived to be, organizers said in a news release. Those with larger vehicles and floats who wish to participate in a parade should contact other area Fourth of July parades, organizers suggested.
