FARMINGTON — There will be an evening of contra dancing Saturday, May 13, at the Farmington Grange, 124 Bridge St., West Farmington. Contra dance is a folk dance made up of long lines of couples. There will be a family dance from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $1 per child; $2 per adult. Pot luck snacks will be available.
A regular contra dance will run from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Kim Roberts will be calling the dance, and Racket Factory will provide the music. The cost for this is $6 for adults, $5 for students or $15 family for an entire family.
