AUGUSTA – The Maine Senate confirmed Amy Arata of New Gloucester on April 18, following a unanimous vote by the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee, to the State Board of Education. Members of the State Board of Education serve five-year terms.
“I was glad to vote in favor of Amy’s nomination to the State Board of Education,” said Senator Eric Brakey, R-Androscoggin. “I am confident that she will do a terrific job advocating for Maine’s students.”
