NORWAY — Stephens Memorial Hospital is pleased to offer “Cooking Matters Pop – Up Tour.” Eating healthy on a limited budget has its challenges; if you are interested in learning tools and tricks to shop healthy on a budget, join them for their upcoming store tour at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
Sarah Carter, a community nutrition educator with Healthy Oxford Hills, is bringing the grocery store to you with a Cooking Matters Pop-up Tour. Together participants will compare fresh, frozen and canned options, read nutrition labels to make sure they are buying nutrient rich foods, and discuss ways to save money by comparing unit prices.
This program will be held Wednesday, May 10, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.; attendees will meet in the Stephens Memorial Hospital Boardroom (181 Main St.). There is no cost for this class, but registration is required. For more information or to register, please call 743-1562, ext. 6896.
