NORWAY — Stephens Memorial Hospital will host the Cooking Matters Pop-Up Tour — a one-night event that teaches how to shop and eat healthy on a budget.
Sarah Carter, a community nutrition educator with Healthy Oxford Hills, will help participants compare fresh, frozen and canned options, read nutrition labels to determine how to best buy nutrient-rich foods, and discuss ways to save money by comparing unit prices.
The program is 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 10 in the board room at Stephens Memorial Hospital, 181 Main St. There is no cost for the class, but registration is required. For more information or to register, call 743-1562 x 6896.
