NORWAY — Tai chi and a mindfulness class have been added to the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine events calendar in May.

Added for May are qi gong and tai chi, 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 8 and 16. Betsy Foster will introduce participants to tai chi and qi gong, which involves slow and deliberate movements that help improve balance and muscle control.
Mindfulness will be offered 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 18. Living in the moment and relaxing through mindfulness will be discussed.
