NORWAY — The Alan Day Community Garden will hold its annual Earth Day celebration Saturday, April 22, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Community Garden, 26 Whitman St. Featuring games and children’s activities, there will also be an opportunity to sign up for Community Supported Garden Shares, garden plots and Youth Leadership programs.
The event also will have food for sale and great music. A ground-breaking ceremony for the new pizza oven being built as a senior project takes place at 10 a.m. At noon get ready to welcome the parade, enjoy some food, join an activity, learn about the garden and have fun! If you want to be part of the parade, rally at Longley Square at 11 a.m., and then join the activities at the garden.
