JAY — Here’s a friendly reminder from the Western Maine Audubon Chapter regarding an upcoming Bird Walk at French Falls Recreation Area Saturday, April 15, from 7 to 9 a.m. The evet is free and open to all ages. Participants will meet at the kiosk/trail arch at 7 a.m. Steve Bien will be the Bird Walk leader.
Please bring binoculars and bird guides if you have them, although not necessary. Walks usually last about 2 hours and are held rain or shine, so dress accordingly. All birder’s eyes and ears are welcome, so please plan to attend. The French Falls Rec Area is located at the end of French Falls Lane across from Spruce Mountain Middle School, 23 Community Drive.
