READFIELD — The Readfield Union Meeting House will host an international dinner from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, April 22, in the Maranacook High School cafeteria, 2250 Millard Harrison Drive.
A buffet of foods from around the world will be prepared and served by members of the meeting house and community volunteers. Maranacook students will provide musical entertainment.
Ticket price is $15 for adults, $10 for children under 12.
Among the menu items will be Swedish meatballs, Italian stuffed shells, Cuban sandwiches, a Moroccan stew, Chinese egg rolls, German rouladen, a variety of international cookies, coffee, lemonade and water.
The evening will also feature a 50-50 raffle. All proceeds from this dinner and various events will benefit the ongoing restoration of the Readfield Union Meeting House. More information about restoration activities — past, present and in the future — will be available at the dinner. Readfield Union Meeting House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and donations to RUMH are tax deductible.
