Nomination papers for those seeking to fill those vacancies will be available at the Town Office beginning Monday, March 20th. Nomination papers must be returned to the Norway Town Office no later than May 1st, with at least 25 and no more than 100 signatures of Norway Registered Voters. Persons who submit the nomination papers, containing the required signatures, will be placed on the June 13, 2017 Norway Election Ballot.

If you’re a current or former smoker, please consider being part of the Rural Maine Lung Health Study, led by Erika Ziller and Jean Talbot from the University of Southern Maine. Researchers are doing this study to understand rural Mainers’ ideas and experiences about smoking, lung cancer risks, and health care providers. As part of the study, we will hold a group discussion at the American Legion Hall, 212 Main Street, Norway, ME on Thursday, April 13th from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Each group member will receive a $40 Hannaford Gift Card and a $10 Irving Gas Card. Pizza will be served.
You may qualify to take part if you are:

* Age 40 or older
