Symphonic (Youth) Orchestra Curva from Paris to perform April 9

LEWISTON — The _Symphonic Orchestra Curva_ from Paris, France, made up of 38 young musicians will be performing under the direction of Laurent Brack Sunday, April 2, beginning at 2 p.m.

In 2009, Laurent Brack founded the _Orchester des pupils of the Conservatoire de Courbevoie, _which later became the _Symphonic Orchestra Curva Via_. During the public concert, members of the Lewiston High School Chorus and other local young singers will join the orchestra. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted at the door.

Host families are needed for overnights on April 7, 8 and 9. A tentative schedule of events for host family would include:

* Friday, April 7: Arrival of the youth in Boston — arrival at the Franco Center around 9 p.m. — pick up at Franco Center — provide bedtime snack and bed.
* Saturday, April 8: Provide breakfast, drop off at Franco Center at 9:30 a.m. (Orchestra concert at Snow Pond at 2:30 p.m.), pickup at Franco Center at 6 p.m., provide dinner.
* Sunday, April 9: Provide breakfast, drop off at Franco Center before 11 a.m. (Franco Center will provide a light lunch for the youths.), free concert at 2 p.m., host families encouraged to attend.
* Monday, April 10: Provide breakfast, drop off at Franco Center at 9 a.m., departure.
