NORWAY — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine is offering a free Reiki session at the Spring Reiki Clinic for people in treatment for cancer, cancer survivors and caregivers.
The Reiki Clinic will be held Sat., April 22 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Norway Town Office, 19 Danforth Street. A reservation for your individual chair session is required and may be made by calling Sherri at 890-7063 before noon on Friday, April 14.
After that date, remaining time slots will be available to anyone in the community wishing to experience Reiki for themselves. Reiki is gentle touch that promotes relaxation to reduces stress; helps relieve pain and may help improve sleep. Reiki is not a substitute for medical care or treatment.
The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine is located at 199 Main St, Norway in the Stephens Memorial Hospital Specialty Clinic building. The Center is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Thursday and Friday. The Cancer Resource Center offers a variety of programs as well as comfort items, free to anyone impacted by cancer.
