AUBURN — Central Maine Community College will hold its annual spring open house Sat., April 8, from 9 a.m. to noon at the school. CMCC has many amenities to offer prospective students, including residence halls described as as “a clean and convenient housing option for full-time students who want to enjoy the benefits of living on campus.”
CMCC offers more than 40 career, technical and transfer programs, certificates and advanced certificates. Flexible scheduling as well as courses offered in Oxford, Franklin and Lincoln counties are part of the experience. Classes are held from early in the morning to later in the evening, accommodating today’s students’ busy schedules. In addition to offering on-campus classes, hybrid and on-line courses are also available.
Staff from the school’s Office of Financial Aid will be at the open house to answer questions and explain the process.
While academics is the most important aspect of pursuing a degree, CMCC has a vibrant and successful athletics program for men and women, offering baseball, basketball, cross country, hockey, soccer, softball and volleyball.
