LEWISTON — The Lewiston Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy is open for enrollment.
The 10-week program provides an inside look at the day-to-day operations of the department, and is a unique opportunity to engage with the department and to be informed on the services it proviedes, to discuss current issues taking place both in Lewiston and region-wide, and to ask questions related to law enforcement, according to a news release from the department.
The course meets from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays from March 21 to May 23.
