LEWISTON — The staff at Central Maine Gastroenterology wore blue to raise awareness for colorectal cancer on March 3, part of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.The month designation serves as a reminder the disease can be prevented with regular screenings, said a news release from Central Maine Healthcare. Patients can schedule a colonoscopy, which screens for the disease, by calling 784-5784.
