WAYNE — Cary Memorial Library will celebrate the life and work of ecological pioneer and conservationist Aldo Leopold with a program and lunch on Saturday, March 18.
The event will be at noon at the Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road.
After a brief introduction to Leopold’s work, writing and philosophy, volunteers from the audience will read excerpts from his books. A light lunch of soup or quiche, salad, roll, coffee or tea and blueberry cake will be available,with a suggested donation of $5.
His books will be on display at the library March 18-25.
