OQUOSSOC – The Rangeley Region Guides & Sportsmen’s Association will hold its monthly membership meeting on Thursday, March 16, at the RRG&SA clubhouse on Old Skiway Road in Oquossoc.

The potluck dinner begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by a brief business meeting, then a presentation by Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife game bird biologist Kelsey Sullivan. Before he joined the state IFW in 2007, Sullivan worked for U.S. Fish and Wildlife in Alaska for 10 years on research projects related to natural resource damage assessment of marine birds and mammals following the Exxon Valdez Oil Spillm according to a news release from RRG&SA. Sullivan, assisted by association member Jack McNulty, will discuss the annual grouse drumming survey and “everything else we need to know about Maine partridge,” the release said.
