Franklin County residents asked to take broadband internet survey

Mar. 12017

RANGELEY — In an effort to improve broadband internet service in Franklin County, the Rangeley Economic Opportunity Committee (REOC), Opportunity Center of North Franklin County, Greater Franklin Development Corporation and Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments are applying for a planning grant. Franklin County residents can access the survey through this link: www.surveymonkey.com/r/FD8LF2T.

The organizations are on a tight deadline to submit the Planning Grant application; therefore, timely participation is critical to the process. Surveys should be completed and submitted by Monday, March 20. It is also important to have a statement from residents’ current internet provider on hand to help answer questions from the survey, which takes only a few minutes to complete. Survey participants, limited to Franklin Country residents, will be asked to check the speed of their connection. The entire survey should take only a few minutes to complete, according to the instructions.
