Turner resident wants to bring back 4th of July fireworks

TURNER — For several years people from Turner and surrounding towns have been fortunate enough to watch the best fireworks display around. Unfortunately, this came to an end due to lack of funding.

I have missed bringing my family to this event on the 4th of July after the parade and events on the green, so this year I decided to try and bring the fireworks back to Turner — with your help. I am asking residents to consider making a donation for the fireworks. Any and all donations will help.

There is a GoFundMe page (Turner’s 2017 4th of July Fireworks), a returnable bottle drop box at Schrepps Store and donation buckets throughout town. For more information on helping out with this event or if your want to make a donation, please call Rachel Pack at 225-5951.
