LEWISTON — Sixteen swimmers from the Mid-Maine Dolphins Team were invited to participate in the 16th annual YMCA All Star-Meet at the Tarbell Pool at Bates College.
Hosted by the Twin Cities Swim Team under the leadership of Tom Manduca, this invitational tri-meet was between the Southern, Central and Northern divisions of the Pine Tree Cluster Swim League.
The 16 swimmers, led by head coach Stephanie Perkins, were invited as a result of their outstanding performance during the 2016-2017 swimming season.
Their dedication and hard work paid off as the Central Division was able to keep its champions title for another year in what was described as the closest All Star Meet ever!
The atmosphere was one of excitement and healthy competition as athletes from all over Maine came together to achieve a common goal.
