BRIDGTON — If you need assistance with the preparation of your federal and state income tax forms, IRS-trained and -certified AARP tax-aide specialists will begin service on Friday, Feb. 3, and will continue every Friday through April 7 at the Bridgton Community Center, 15 Depot St. Appointments may be made at 647-3116.
Persons using this private and confidential free tax service are required to bring to their appointment a valid photo ID for taxpayer and spouse, Social Security cards for themselves and any dependents, and a copy of their 2015 tax return.
Also bring any tax-related forms or statements you have received from employers, the Social Security Administration or pension providers, interest and dividends received from banks and/or investment firms, health insurance information for taxpayer, spouse and all dependents, any other income documents you believe to be relevant and finally any receipts or summary of deductions to which you believe you are entitled.

Preparation of your income tax returns is a free service and is sponsored jointly by the IRS and the AARP Foundation.
